Welcome to the University of Sufism’s community for current students and alumni!
The community is a place to gather together as sisters and brothers from around the world and walk together in the Sufi way. The community offers free and by donation spiritual practice calls, affinity groups, workshops to support ongoing learning and growth, and more, all led by current students and UoS/USHS alumni. Gather with us, pray with us, grow with us – we are so glad you’re part of the UoS family.

Newly Added Ways To Connect
Monthly Ladies of Layla Women’s Gathering: a holy gathering of teachings, movement, and creativity. Next gathering is Sunday March 22nd. Learn more and sign up to attend here.
Monthly Sacred Movement: a chance to experience embodied presence and deep listening through accessible somatic movement and stillness. Open to all bodies. Next offering is Tuesday, February 24th at 8:15pm ET and every 4th Tuesday after. Join the Zoom.
New Offering: Secrets of the Fatiha Series
Taught by Salima Adelstein, this series will focus on the secrets of the Fatiha. It will start on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 11am to 12pm ET and will last for seven weeks. It’s open to all UoS community members of current students and alumni (sign up here if you’re not yet a member). Recordings will be sent to those registered for the series.
Cost is by donation if you are able.
Our Offerings
For All
Most of our offerings are for all current students and alumni. They are opportunities to pray together daily and weekly, to work towards global peace together, to deepen in our faith together, to gather in affinity spaces together and so much more.
For Current Students
As current students in the University of Sufism, it’s special to connect outside of class. Join our offerings just for current students – from our class for new promise takers to peer mentoring opportunities to fireside chats, take advantage of the opportunity to deepen your connection to the broader current student community.
For Alumni
Stay connected to your brothers and sisters who have also graduated from USH/UoS. Participate in the alumni network, stay connected with alumni fireside chats, and support each other with bringing your unique light and himma out to the world.
