• Support beloveds in our community who are facing financial difficulties primarily through our beloveds emergency fund;
• Give to the poor and needy of Jerusalem as our guide, Sidi, did before us;
• Give when there is a crisis or large scale event impacting people of the world;
• Give scholarships to students needing financial help to study at the University of Sufism to deepen their own spiritual walking;
• Give Himma (Spiritual Aspiration) Mini Grants to individuals working on projects based in sufism that make the world a better place;
• Bring to life projects that carry Diving Love and Light designed to help the world fill with Peace and Beauty.

Unrestricted donations that support Ma’rifa’s mission help us to bring to life the divine inspirations put in our hearts to help the world fill with love and life.

Donations

Donations made to the mission of the organization support these initiatives as well as other large projects dedicated to bringing to life our Sufi teachings of Unity to the world. This includes community partnership work, global zawiya centers and more.

Sacrifices

Sacrifices are donations made at times such as when someone takes or renews their Sufi promise (bay’ah) and other promises, taking Shahadah, for a khalwah, and donations made during holy times of the year such as zakat in Ramadan. Money given as a sacrifice to the organization is only used to help those in need.
