Community is at the heart of the work Ma’rifa does. We deeply believe that we are all holy beings who carry beauty and divine inspirations in each heart. We are both each carrying a unique fragrance to offer the world and yet also all connected as one heart of creation.

We are committed to partnering with individuals, communities, and other like-hearted organizations to live our teachings of love, mercy, peace, justice, and freedom. Together, we believe we can make the world a gentler, more loving place place.
One way we do this is by partnering with existing Sufi communities looking for support on bringing their community together more strongly. We also support new beloveds who want to start new communities. We are available to support them in the unfolding of what is in their hearts.
We offer mini himma (Divine Aspiration) grants between $500 and $5,000 to support community members who are working on a project for the world connected to our sufi teachings but who need financial assistance to complete their work.
Lastly, Ma’rifa is so excited to announce that starting in fall 2024, we will be launching our own community for our future students, our current students, and our alumni of the Institute of Spiritual Healing and the University of Sufism. We will offer weekly prayer gatherings, support for walking the Sufi path, opportunities for our alumni, a space to gather and ask for help and prayers, and so much more. We can’t wait to share more with you!
