Supporting People in Need

We are all one heart, one soul who all carry the beautiful Divine presence within and at different times in our lives, many of us need support. Ma’rifa is committed to supporting you in moments of needing that extra support.
We offer support in a few different ways:
- Through our beloveds emergency fund, we offer financial support to community members going through difficult times. Apply here or email admin@marifafoundation.org for more information.
- Through our Ma’rifa Community (launching fall 2024), we offer support when people are struggling with feeling alone, disconnected, hopeless, discourage, or lost. Find out more about what we are offering here.
- Ma’rifa is committed to raising money and giving to those in need during times of crisis on a larger scale, such as during the 2023 earthquake in Morocco. We also send money to Palestine as our beloved guide, Sidi al Jamal, taught us. Caring for those who are in extreme need is critical to the mission of Ma’rifa.
- Ma’rifa supports the University of Sufism (UoS) and its work to bring Sufi spiritual teachings out to the world. This includes giving scholarships to students who need financial assistance to attend the many wonderful programs UoS offers.
